ZARA TEREZ HANDBAGS Some people have shoe fetishes but mine happens to be handbags! I just can’t have enough or too many! As a frugal shopper, I find myself skimming through magazines to find the latest “it” bag. Then I look for something comparable and affordable, but sometimes the look-a-likes are outrageously priced. Enter Zara Zimmerman, a 22-year-old designer who broke barriers and launched Zara Terez in 2008.
Zimmerman believes that the interior of a bag is equally as important as the exterior so once you open up one of these gorgeous purses you’ll love her eye catching linings. Each style pays homage to a different neighborhood of New York City’s five boroughs (I think I should purchase the Nolita). So if you’re looking for the next must-have bag that is head turning both inside AND out, check out Zimmerman’s collection. This bag lady held a trunk show last week. Her handbags are available online at ZaraTerez.com and specialty retail stores worldwide, including Big Drop, Nordstrom, The Shoe Box and Searle. Retail prices range from $125-600. Below are some photos. Until next time, stay chic! - Arleny G.

Trivial Pursuit, tequila, Jenga, vodka and foosballl?!
675 Bar is the new bar that is bringing a new type of “hip” to the Meatpacking District. Replacing what was once “Level V,” 675 bar has wiped out the bottle and snobby door service to create a sort of underground playground.
With exposed brick everywhere and secluded little rooms that hold a library in one and a foosball table in the other, this place makes it easy to become either your next date spot or your next after work scene. Read the rest of this entry »
I can almost guarantee that there isn’t a girl out there who wouldn’t love a pair of Jimmy Choo’s, just like I can almost guarantee that not every girl can afford a pair! Starting tomorrow (Saturday, Nov. 14th) H&M’s collaboration with Jimmy Choo gives us all the opportunity to snag a piece from this designer! This is a first for both parties. For H&M it’s the first time they team up with an accessories brand, and it’s Jimmy Choo’s first attempt into apparel. I’m so excited about this because it couldn’t come at a better time. With the holidays right around the corner the pieces will not disappoint!
The collection is said to feature details such as crystals, studs and animal prints. It will provide pieces
for your every style to get you through this season. From high heels and thigh-high boots to gladiator flats and ballet pumps- all of Jimmy Choo’s classic designs will be there! Guys, there will be something for you too! You will be given a selection of ankle boots and bags and wardrobe such as blazers, biker jackets, cashmere sweaters, shirts and trousers. So ladies AND gentlemen, let H&M’s exclusive collaboration with Jimmy Choo get you ready for the holiday or everyday when it hits stores this Saturday November 14th! Until next time, stay chic! -Arleny

JOURNALIST DENISSE OLLER
We had the honor of speaking with five-time Emmy award-winning journalist Denisse Oller. After 25 years of broadcasting, Oller decided to pursue her interest in the culinary world. The anchor turned chef spoke to us about her career change, why her mother never wanted her to learn how to cook and exclusive info on her upcoming projects. We even shared a few laughs when I showed her a particular photo!
We also asked Oller if she would express her thoughts on CNN’s Latino in America series, and she did! We divided our on-camera interview in two. Check them out on BeChic TVhere. – Mercedes
