Mercedes has a unique resume within the Entertainment and News industry. From writing on film, fashion and Latino culture in the New York Post, to covering politics as a press officer for former Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrion (who was recently appointed as the director of Urban Policy at the White House) and producing segments for WNBC NewsChannel 4, Mercedes doesn’t stop until she’s found what she’s looking for. Mercedes is a real New Yorker who grew up in Manhattan’s Lower East Side before gentrification hit the downtown neighborhood- now known as hipster central.
