who IS mercedes?
Mercedes has a unique resume within the Entertainment and News industry. From writing on film, fashion and Latino culture in the New York Post, to covering politics as the Bronx Borough President’s press officer and most recently producing segments for WNBC NewsChannel 4, the New York native doesn’t stop until she’s found what she’s looking for.
Mercedes is a real New Yorker who grew up in Manhattan’s Lower East Side before gentrification hit the downtown neighborhood- now known as hipster central. (Check out this segment Mercedes wrote, shot and produced on the Lower East Side for WNBC.)
