Bromance: close friendships between hetero dudes.

Back in April of 2007, I wrote an article titled “Bromantic” which got an unprecedented amount of comments on BeChicMag.com. It stirred some controversy between women and men and unintentionally led to tension. Some of you had never heard of the term “Bromance” until logging on here, but since then the word has become even more popular. Now there’s an MTV show with the same name starring Brody Jenner from The Hills as he tries to find his new ‘bro’.

    The idea of a Bromance is perfectly fine…but do they really need to make a TV show out of it? Come on? Has MTV really run out of clever ideas that they need to showcase D-List Celebrity Brody Jenner and his wannabe celebrity friends looking for a new member to their crew? And let’s really think about it…what are the odds of this friendship REALLY working out? I give this show 2 thumbs DOWN and if I had 4 thumbs I’d put those down too! lol.

    Your Bromance piece was GREAT, yes it started controversy but for all the right reasons… no question about it this show sucks and nobody is taking it serious.. FYI MTV already had a good show about Bromance, REAL BROMANCE!! it was called ROB AND BIG.{playing the theme song} now that was a SHOW!!!!!!!

    I think you should revisit the topic… Your now Mature faithful readers might have different opinions or better imput, just a thought! BECHICMAG
