What I Wore on the Red Carpet

Because I missed out on meeting Oscar de la Renta and Juan Luis Guerra at the Vanidades party last week, I felt like I had to make it up big time!  So when I hit the streets of SoHo to find a new dress for Latina Magazine’s 15th Anniversary Party, here’s what I found:

I loved everything about this dress, the fit, length and the flowy skirt. Now, can you guess where it’s from?

We took these pictures near Pinche Taqueria where I just had to make a stop for a late night bite.

Alright folks. This dress is no other than an H&M original production! Cost: $59.99

I didn’t believe it either.

Tell me: What was the last item you purchased that left you oohing and ahhing??

Craig!! Thanks so much. And thanks for the ‘do. The curls didn’t last long though — they never do on my fine hair :)

I love that dress!!! It’s perfect on you.

The last thing I bought that left me oohing and aahing was a pair of retro wedges that i’m going to wear to my sister’s wedding. They are fabulous and make me feel fabulous when I put them on.

Love the dress!  And sadly…I cannot remember the last time I bought something fabulous enough worth an ohhhh and an ahhhh.  Maybe it’s my cue to go shopping ;)

Looking awesome, as usual.  ;)  I can’t help but laugh at your looking all luxurious next to that muddy cab…lol.  Quite the contrast…you definitely deserved a limo that night.  :)

I agree with Lisa, I can’t remember the last shopping trip that left me oooing and ahhhing…sounds like it’s about time for an excursion.  ;)

I didn’t purchase them but I’m still thinking about it days later. The other day I went to Macys and tried on a pair of Jessica Simpson boots and I almost fainted they were so perfect. A high chunky heel, rugged sole and laced up perfect for fall. May have to go back and get them…

All eyes are on the prize when it comes to celebrity appearances at the many award ceremonies. It is fascinating to see what the rich and famous are wearing as they cruise down the red carpet, and their selection of glamour wear is often emulated in the fashion magazines. Jessica Alba was seen recently at the premiere of My Bloody Valentine wearing Dolce and Gabbana’s silk pyjamas. This 1950s style outfit in black has striking white piping to the edges and sash tie to the waist.
