With more than five years’ experience, Mercedes is an established features writer, segment producer and multimedia journalist. Her career kicked off when she wrote for the New York Post’s Tempo — a monthly insert on Latino related arts and culture. A love for producing started when NBC called her to work for their Emmy award-winning morning show “Today In New York”.

Mercedes is a dedicated and determined visionary. She produces, shoots, and hosts original segments on BeChic TV covering the latest in fashion and entertainment. On BeChic TV, viewers can expect to see interviews with designers, actors, authors, and lifecasting segments. She has coordinated on-camera interviews with Vera Wang, Beyonce’s make-up artist, John Leguizamo, author Jill Martin from “Fashion for Dummies,” and many notable personalities.
