Skincare products with natural ingredients
During my Facebook Live chat last week I briefly spoke about looking for skincare and hair products that are free of parabens, sulfates, dyes, and fragrances. And believe me, it's not easy. So many cleansers, makeup, and shampoos contain those chemicals. But I came across one drugstore brand that focuses on natural ingredients.
The Neutrogena Naturals collection has facial cleansing wipes, a moisturizer, facial scrub, and cleansing makeup remover.
Because I wear makeup often, I try to always have wipes in my purse. If I can't take my makeup off outside, I'll do it as soon as I get into the apartment.
The Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes are ultra-soft wipes clinically proven to remove dirt, oil, and makeup. It doesn't leave any greasy residue. The wipes are from naturally-derived fibers.
These too are free of harsh chemical sulfates, parabens, petrolatum, dyes, and phthalates. Because I had waterproof eyeliner and mascara I also used the Neutrogena Naturals Fresh Cleansing and Makeup Remover.
The cleansing makeup remover washes away impurities and detoxifies pores for fresh, clear skin. I love that it contains natural ingredients such as coconut, corn, willow bark and guar bean.
I was surprised to feel such a rich moisture. It's not a creamy cleanser but it left my skin feeling soft. It removes 99% of dirt, oil and impurities. This is a great way to get ready for bed. In the morning I used the Purifying Pore Scrub.
I recommend using the scrub only once a week as it contains willow bark, a natural salicylic acid to remove dirt, oil and makeup. It washes away dull dead skin cells to detoxify pores.
NEW Neutrogena Naturals Daily Moisturizer with Sunscreen SPF 25
I always look for SPF in my daily moisturizers. But what I love most about the NEW Brightening Daily Moisturizer is its lightweight formula that not only provides moisture but also has a skin-brightening lemon peel that works with you to even the skin tone in just four weeks.
After cleansing and moisturizing my face, I added a BB cream, light blush, and a bright pink matte lipstick to complete my look. I also let my hair air dry. I usually blow dry my hair lightly the following day to style it.
What about you? Do you use any drugstore products with natural ingredients?
