A Look into Designer Cenia Paredes' Exclusive HSN Collection
Dominican Designer Cenia Paredes launches her HSN Collection
Cenia Paredes is one of our favorite designers. Here at BeChicMag.com we've worked with her when I hosted an event at Macy's and covered the Premios Juventud awards. But today is a brand new and exciting day for Cenia who debuted her dress collection, "Sea the Future," under her label for HSN.
The collection highlights Cenia’s proprietary distinctive fits created to flatter and complement the most predominant female body types in America—The Cenia Fit for pear-shaped women with more room at the hips and less room at the bust, and The Regular Fit for curvier women with more room at the bust, waist and hips.
“It’s a true honor, especially as a formally-trained Latina fashion designer, to partner with HSN and bring my dress concepts to their audiences,” says Paredes. “My love of fashion and design are inspired by my own experiences in not finding appropriate fits for my body type as a pear-shaped woman. The majority of today’s fashions are designed for a smaller version of the traditional hourglass figure, which only accounts for eight percent of America’s female population, while about 20 percent of America’s female population have pear-shaped body types.”
The collection retails between $79.90 and $99.90 and will also be available on HSN.com beginning June 10.
Lin-Manuel Miranda's wife, Vanessa Nadal, wore Cenia's design at the Tony Awards.
