New Season, New Look

In August I cut my long hair about 3-4 inches right below the shoulder. And it grew back fast. I was considering cutting my hair again and then I saw a post by Ted Gibson, a celebrity hairstylist based in New York City, stating he needed hair models for a class. I jumped on the opportunity. Ted was teaching an advanced technique class and he agreed that short hair looks good on me and went to work. ted gibson haircut

He added layers and before I knew it, my hair now sits right on the shoulder. And I love it. I had it even shorter in 2008 so the look isn't new to me. I interviewed Ted for Be Chic TV back in 2010 where he spoke about his magic blow drying skills. (Watch it below!) He's so smart and dedicated to his craft. It really was an honor being back at the salon. By the way, he charges his clients $1300+ for a haircut. Sometimes a $120 haircut is a luxury for me so I'm super grateful to have been selected.

I got many compliments on this oversized sweater on Instagram. And yes, I bought it at H&M. (I should collaborate with them soon because I'm in there 24/7.) I bought it at their Herald Square location in Manhattan. I wore it with my favorite (almost worn out) laceless Nike sneakers.
