DIY Pumpkin Facial
It’s the season of pumpkin spice, and celebrity manicurist and beauty expert Skyy Hadley explains how you can take pumpkin to the next level.
With the cold weather moving in, you want to keep your face glowing and bright. Use a pumpkin puree to nourish your skin.
Here are some of Hadley's tips:
* Mix one can of pureed pumpkin in a bowl
* Stir in a cup of plain yogurt, 4-5 tablespoons of honey and a 1/4 teaspoon olive oil
* Wash face and while it's still moist, apply the mask using your fingers in an upward motion
* Let it sit for no more than 10 minutes and then remove it with warm water and a washcloth
There will be leftover mask so seal it in a closed tupperware or have a girls’ spa night!
Not only does it work for brightness but it also hydrates and prevents those pesky blemishes and keeps your skin nice and smooth.
Carving pumpkins for fun and facial benefits – the perfect fall season.
