Estée Lauder Targets Millennials with The Estée Edit
Growing up, I remember going into my mami’s room and playing with her Estée Lauder products. Looking back, I can’t believe I was trying on such heavy makeup and anti aging creams.

Estée Lauder is now trying to slowly move away from this stigma and has teamed up with Kendall Jenner and blogger Irene Kim by launching a brand specifically geared towards millennials.
The Estée Edit has 82 products that work with anyone’s makeup routine. It has been divided into three attitudes "The Barest, The Edgiest and The Editor.”
The Barest focuses on enhancing your features with blushes that are sheer but still add a pop of color. The Estée Edit also embraced the contouring trend and has provided contouring sticks that make it much easier to contour. For our darker skin tone ladies, The Estee Edit also has foundations ranging from very light to dark. This is necessary because it’s so hard to find the right foundation shades for darker skin tones since they usually have a red undertone.
On the opposite side, The Edgiest consists of highly pigmented matte lipsticks and eye shadows that only need one swipe to be seen. However, The Estée Edit has two Lip Flip Shade Transformers that can help transform all your colors. Turn Up and Turn Down lipsticks can either darken or lighten your lip shade. Buying these two lip flips automatically give you double the amount of lipsticks. How can you say no to that?
The Editor is personally my favorite “attitude”. Fashion “it” girls Kendall Jenner and Irene Kim collaborated with Estée Lauder and produced The Edit Eyeshadow Palette with 14 different shades. They also incorporated black light so that your shine still shows in the dark. For those of us obsessed with selfies and social media, Estee Edit has a lip-gloss that makes your smile brighter. The Flash Photo Gloss has blue undertone gloss that makes your teeth look whiter. There is also the Flash Photo Powder, which instantly blurs out any blemishes and achieves that “no filter” look.
The Estée Edit is already available online at Sephora.com. It will be launching in stores starting on March 15. I can’t wait to get my hands on all of the products.
