The Oscars: Best and Worst Dressed

By Mercedes Sanchez Tonight's Academy Awards had many of our readers talking. We even got into a friendly debate on Facebook over Penelope Cruz. (See our Facebook conversation here). When it came down to choosing my top three picks for the best dressed I went for the following. Take a look below to find out why.

Milla Jovovich, Viola Davis, Angelina Jolie

Milla Jovovich: White was a popular trend among stars like Cameron Diaz and Rooney Mara, but Milla Jovovich's one-shoulder Elie Saab was our favorite. I especially loved her hair.

Voila Davis: She was almost unrecognizable! Kudos to Voila for rocking her natural hair. She looks radiant in the Vera Wang gown, and I can't believe how much younger she looks without her wig.

Angelina Jolie: I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually liked Angelina's strapless Atelier Versace gown. It's simple, but the high slit is a popular trend. We saw lots of legs at the Premio Lo Nuestro awards in Miami just last week!

Now, for the worst dressed.

Judy Greer, Emma Stone, Sandra Bullock

Judy Greer: Judy, it's not you-- it's the dress. Frankly, we can't think about anyone who might look good in that Monique Lhuillier gown.

Emma Stone: It hurt me to see her on this list, but I'm not a fan of all that red: the dress, the carpet and the hair! It's a perfect fit, but I would have liked to see a contrast color on the Giambattista Valli couture halter gown.

Sandra Bullock: This Marchesa dress is beautiful, but the tailoring is off. We're thinking it's supposed to be a little more fitted up top.
