WORLD PREMIERE OF "THE MINISTERS" Contributing writer Delaila on her first red carpet coverage at the world premiere of John Leguizamo and Harvey Keitel's latest film "The Ministers"....

Big things come in small packages. Although one of the smallest on the red carpet, I was definitely able to get the attention of many of the night's stars. Latinos had a strong presence at last night's premiere, and we were tweeting live from Lincoln Square. Actor/Singer Griselle De Valles- who has a song on the soundtrack of The Ministers- said it best.  “If we want to see more people like us on the big screen, we need to start by supporting each other. We need to be part of what’s made for us by us.” When it was time to see the film, the audience consisted of family, cast members and many others who support director/writer Franc. Reyes.

The Ministers is a film about a New York City detective (Florencia Lozano) who seeks to avenge the person responsible for her father's death. From the moment it begins, the film is action packed and intense.

John Leguizamo plays a twin in the film and makes it so believable! In a previous interview, Leguizamo exclusively told BeChicMag.com his take on playing a twin for the first time. Check out our one-on-one interview with Leguizamo and Reyes below. - Delaila Catalino
