BeChicMag The day after our red carpet coverage and only one day before John Leguziamo's latest film "The Ministers" was supposed to hit theaters in New York City, we learned via Facebook that the movie was pulled. As his status, director and writer Franc. Reyes wrote, "The Magic Johnson Theater in Harlem and The AMC on 34th street after agreeing to run The Ministers, decided not to just to make more screens available for the Jamie Foxx and Paranormal Activity movies. They would rather play those two films in five screens than allowing us one. If it's time for Latinos to "Stand Up," I guess this would be it."

Last we heard, supporters of "The Ministers" met at the Empire AMC Theaters earlier this evening to protest against AMC's decision.

We sure hope "The Ministers" hits all theaters as soon as possible.
