Two Days in Paris
Hi, everyone. I'm happy to be back in New York. I have many photos to share with you from our two-week Mediterranean vacation. Let's start with Paris, shall we?
I almost want to say we saved the best for last - but I won't. All the cities we went to have something special. We stopped by Pisa/Tuscany, Rome, Barcelona, Mallorca, Portugal, Pompeii, and Naples.
In Paris we stayed at Hotel Duminy Vendome.
It's a small boutique hotel in the middle of everything. It's only a five-minute walk to The Louvre Museum and about a 30-minute walk to The Eiffel Tower.
It's just steps away from Place Vendôme and high-end clothing stores.
The room was small but cozy and clean. The front desk clerks were helpful, but they could have been more informative. For example, we asked for directions to the Eiffel Tower. We were opened to walking so they only gave us walking directions. But because it was 35 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Fahrenheit) directions via the metro would have been preferred.
On our second day we wanted to see the tower from the Trocadéro. Thankfully there was a clerk in the Metro who told us how to get around. For two adult, round-trip tickets, we spent about €8.

Here we are in the Trocadéro.
We also visited The Louvre and walked through Les Jardins Des Tuileries.
Hey, what's up, hello!
